The Gap Between Knowing and Doing Is a Market.
Everyone knows sunscreen only works if you reapply it. Almost no one does. WearSpray exists for the hundreds of millions of people who already believe in protection, and just need it to be there when the moment comes.

65%
of people surveyed said they often forget to reapply sunscreen, and only about one third reapply every two hours while outside, the frequency U.S. FDA and dermatology guidance advises.
American Academy of Dermatology sun safety survey; U.S. FDA sunscreen guidance
62%
of Europeans use sunscreen routinely or often, yet 34% of those who used it in the sun applied it only once all day.

Americans took part in outdoor recreation in 2025, 59% of the population age six and older, the recurring occasion where reapplication most often breaks down.

The problem was never awareness. It's that the product is in the car, the bag, the locker, anywhere but on you, at the exact moment reapplication matters. WearSpray moves protection onto the body itself.
What's on wrists today. What's working today. What's in development.
On Wrists Today
WearSpray is the world's first patented wearable dispensing platform: a refillable, reusable wrist-worn reservoir that puts your own trusted sunscreen, lotion, repellent, or sanitizer one press away. No bottle. No bag. No searching.
Working Today, Launching Soon
A working development build of the WearSpray companion app exists today and is actively being developed ahead of public release, it is not yet available in the App Store. The current build includes a reapplication timer, UV and environmental intelligence, and contextual reminders based on conditions, not arbitrary timers.
In Development
A compact wearable sensor module that reads perspiration, skin temperature, activity, and exposure, feeding the app and turning WearSpray from a smart dispenser into a personal skincare intelligence.
The Loop
Sense
Reads the signals that matter, perspiration, skin temperature, activity, exposure.
Understand
Turns those signals into personal context.
Prompt
Tells you at the right moment, not on an arbitrary timer.
Act
Puts the product on your wrist to act with. The step reminder apps stop short of.
The differentiatorLearn
Learns your rituals and routines over time.
The differentiating step is Act: reminder apps stop at the notification. WearSpray puts the product at the point of need.
Initial commercial focus: Active, skincare-engaged women ages 25–44. The strongest intersection of routine skincare, sun awareness, ecommerce purchasing, travel, outdoor activity and openness to wearable accessories. This is the lead paid-media and creator audience, not an exclusionary product identity, WearSpray is a platform for any liquid, lotion or gel, for anyone.
"Initial commercial focus," not "designed for": WearSpray is a refillable dispensing platform compatible with any over-the-counter liquid, lotion or gel, so the product isn't boxed permanently into sunscreen, one gender, beach use, or a single age group.

Caribbean visitor arrivals are deliberately not added to the total, many tourists originate in the U.S. or Europe and would be double-counted. They represent sales occasions, not additional people.
How to Read These Numbers
Broad demographic
All residents 25–44 in the geography. A population benchmark, not a forecast of purchasers.
Core planning market
People with both product relevance (outdoor, sun-care, travel, skincare) and convenience friction. A planning range informed by population and behavior data, not a guarantee of conversion.
Early beachhead
The concentrated subset practical to reach through selected digital, travel, resort, and specialty retail channels first.
United States
The proving ground
91.9M adults 25–44 (U.S. Census, 2025). With 59% of Americans participating in outdoor recreation (Outdoor Industry Association, 2025), the outdoor-exposed pool in this cohort is roughly 54M. First markets: Florida, California, Texas, Hawaii, and the coastal Southeast, high-UV lifestyles, resort and watersport settings where the need demonstrates itself.
Europe
Sun-aware and growing
~131M adults 25–44 across the EU-27 and UK (Eurostat; UK ONS). Europe's six largest sun-care markets reached roughly €1.6B in retail sales, growing 11.6% year over year (Circana), with online beauty outpacing in-store (NielsenIQ). Priority countries: UK, Germany, France, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Greece, each with a distinct angle, from daily-SPF convenience to beach, boating, and resort protection.
Caribbean
Where the need is constant
~12.7M residents ages 25–44, year-round sun, marine activity, plus roughly 35M international stay-over arrivals and 35.5 million cruise visits in 2025 (Caribbean Tourism Organization), landing in exactly the high-sun, luggage-light, poolside context WearSpray is built for. Resort, marina, beach-club, and travel retail make the region a natural demonstration market.
Sun care is moving beyond a seasonal beach purchase.
$2.7B
in U.S. sun care sales for the 12 months ending March 2026, up 6%; prestige sun care reached $774.9M, up 11%.
Circana
+17%
growth in European prestige sun care, reaching €239.7M, with facial SPF up 26% in the same period.
Circana
+11%
growth in Latin American sun protection sales to $76M; ecommerce is nearly three quarters of sales, and Brazil's prestige segment reached $10M, 63% online.
Circana
21% / 10%
online beauty sales growth in North America and Europe respectively, outpacing store sales.

Pew Research Center
Beyond the United States, Europe and the Caribbean, WearSpray is evaluating South America and South Africa. These regions are not included in the core audience figures above, they represent future localization and partnership opportunities, not current serviceable demand.
South America
Approximately 130M people ages 25–44 on a directional UN population basis, led by Brazil's strong online sun-care momentum. A second-wave expansion market, not included in the headline core audience above.
South Africa
20.6M people ages 25–44 (2026), with high UV exposure concentrated around Western Cape tourism and beach, Gauteng premium urban beauty, and KwaZulu-Natal coastal hospitality. A focused pilot market under evaluation.
WearSpray is preparing for market entry across consumer, retail, hospitality and outdoor channels. We welcome conversations with distributors, resorts, retailers and brand partners who see the opportunity to make personal care more accessible, wearable and responsive.
MethodologyPopulation figures use the latest available official or United Nations data at the time of research. Core and launch audience ranges are WearSpray planning estimates derived by applying behavioral and commercial filters to the age 25–44 population; they are directional ranges, not third-party forecasts. Tourism visits are shown separately and are never added to resident population totals. The reservoir and companion app status described above reflect the current product stage as supplied by WearSpray.
